I’ll be moving in a few months so I decided to do an apartment tour because this is my favorite living space so far. If you’re looking for any apartment inspiration, especially for studio apartments, I hope you find some inspiration from this video! The apartment is approximately 350 sqft and it is located in the city. The building you can see from the window is not the empire state building, although that would be awesome if it was!
Tips For Small Space Dwellers
1. Utilize the space under your bed. Get blocks to lift your bed and raise it so you can use the space under your bed as storage.
2. Routinely purge your apartment of things you don’t use or need, including clothing.
3. Use a shoe rack & closet organizers to keep everything tidy. Small spaces get dirty quickly and often.
4. Stay organized – give everything a home
5. Buy furniture that gives you more shelving/storage. If you need a piece of furniture, consider a multi-functional piece. There are benches and couches that double as cots or extra storage. Consider these options if you need more space.
5. Be conscious with your spending. If you have limited space, don’t buy too many decorative books(learn from my mistakes lol). Consider buying books on a kindle or the digital versions of the books you want to read.
